There is nothing inherently sexual about skin, and there is nothing inherently sexual about lace, ruffles, stockings, and straps. I have been following the lingerie community for quite sometimes now and I must say, many of us love our collections because it makes us feel good about ourselves.
We are brought up in a society where everything we do seemingly is for the pleasure of man, however, my collection makes me feel like I’m doing it for myself. I appreciate the art of clothing as much as the next fashionista, but I will not hide my appreciation for a specific set of clothing because society deems it to be inappropriate. Especially when most of the time, I’m more covered than the society approved swimsuit.
Deeper things aside, everything I’m wearing is Victoria’s Secret where they are currently having a sale and I accidentally spent $150 on things I did not need. Unfortunately, the brand specializes in low end lingerie and it does not fit properly and nothing is adjustable, minus the hook and eyes on the back. The top piece is boned to the gods, however, a flaw in design is that due to the structure, the fabric does not contain and mold my body properly, thus the unsightly rolls in some photos. The prices of the pieces are affordable, but I do not recommend the brand for a true lingerie experience.
