Sunday Brunch
This is an ensemble I would wear to a Sunday brunch if I somehow manage to be conscious before noon. I paired some simple pieces together to give it a casual look while still looking put together. The maxi skirt gives an effortless feel while elevating the otherwise uber casual outfit to another level. My favorite feature on the skirt is the double slit in the front for ease while exercising, and the sheer material that tops it gives the look a sultry but still appropriate flash of leg and heel.
Because it is the summer time I decided to add some color into the outfit buy pairing a striped crop top and a slouchy mint green blazer with three- quarter sleeves to shy away from looking too business. I topped it off with my small yellow bag to give it a bright pop of color as opposed to the more pastel colors on top. I finished with a nude pump because the skirt was too long and it was necessary and also because they go with everything.
On my feet I have these Valentino Rockstud pump knock offs that I got from an Asian site long ago, which I don’t actually recommend. As you can see in the picture, the stiletto looks mangled, and that was after one wear. I have since started to save up for the authentic versions and I hope I will be able to afford them by the end of the summer.
Photo credits to my friend David Won for providing high quality artsy shots rather than just the regular nooby ones I’ve been using.
